‘What goes around comes around’
Karma is een begrip uit het hindoeïsme en het boeddhisme, dat letterlijk vertaald wordt als 'handeling', 'actie' of 'daad'. Het is een woord wat tevoorschijn komt als men praat over vorige levens. In het kort gezegd is karma een reactie van een actie of te wel wat je zaait zul je ook oogsten. Het is en gevolg van een handeling die je in het vorig leven of levens hebt gedaan.
'Karma' is an Eastern religious concept in contradistinction to 'faith' espoused by Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam), which view all human dramas as the will of God as opposed to present - and past - life actions. In Eastern beliefs, the karmic effects of all deeds are viewed as actively shaping past, present, and future experiences.
